We should have been going to the gym today, but the weather was so nice we spent it in the garden. Very Happy Cleaned out the gutters AGAIN and cleared the debris off the shed roof. We were so lucky to get away with that tree falling. The only damage done was it pulled down the camera bird-box, which I cleaned out and got ready to put it back.

Going to have a soaky bath for my poor aching bones.

Same as me Sue, a nice hot shower after making the most of the beautiful day by tackling my potting shed. Bought some compost yesterday so had to make room. Everything has been bunged in there over the last few months so it was quite a task and only managed to clear half before I'd had enough.

We bought compost this morning! Now I need to find the seeds I ordered - can't remember where I put them 'for safekeeping'. Rolling Eyes

Dave had a look at the front bridge today. I've been on at him for ages - it has started to sway when you walk on it and it's quite a drop into the bog. Shocked He said it probably needed a few of the bolts tightening .... Fraid not, it's starting to rot on one side. We could patch it - but it would look like a wooden patchwork quilt. So that's another job that needs doing. One thing at a time.

Sounds like the Millenium footbridge in London.

According to Auntie Beeb it's 'mild and blustery' here this morning. According to my meteorological observations (looking out the window) It's calm, sunny and Brass Monkeys! Shocked I really think they need a new pine cone.

We finally got to the gym this morning then out to give June (the donkey) her daily carrot and apple. We called in at Creevy for a breath of sea air and spent a blissfull half hour watching Brent geese and two Grey Wagtails dabbling around in the stream that flows onto the beach - lovely!

Right, back to business, I have a blueberry that needs planting.

Sorted now, Margo, and user banned.
A spammer slipped through the net.
Not a hacking as such; just someone who signed up as a normal user then went to town spamming their drug sales.

What did I do today.............. Laughing

Just a word of assistance for Lady Fermanagh, if you keep an eye open for those big blue pallets going spare, and look at the end boards, some of them have one plastic one to presumably prevent wear from fork lift trucks etc. They're exceptionally strong and, being plastic, will last virtually for ever. Maybe suitable for your bridge?

A person joined the site and bombarded it on a lot of subjects with drugs for sale. That person has now been blocked

Thanks Margo,
Give me the simple life any day,
I really can't put up with all this drug stuff and people who can't just be thankful for being able to live a nice life,
Christ only knows enough people live in pain / fear/ and not being loved
Why do we need drugs to take people into a dream world.
give me my dogs and the simple life everytime all this being cruel/killing people/
ETC ETC is just a waste of both time and life.

But once again thanks for your reply Wink

Thanks for the thought Blowin, I think we know where we went wrong with the last one and won't be repeating the same mistake.

I was blissfully unaware of any advertising!

Just got back from The Smuggler's, owners Mark and Emily finally tied the knot (yesterday) and had a party tonight. Had a really lovely time - I'm sure they be celebrating 'til dawn but it's past our cocoa time so night-night.
