Hi there, Stiofain here, based in Co Monaghan. Recently became very interested in growing as much of our fresh food as possible. I have recently constructed some large raised beds and installed a 8m x 3m polycarbonate type tunnel. So, with out further ado I'm looking forward to getting stuck in and interacting with some of you for advice and tips as I'm going to need them - as a complete novice. Best wishes.

Oy! Where's everyone else. Come and say "Hello" to Stiofain. We'll have to give them a clip around the ear, Stiofain. Smile

A word to the wise Stiofain, if you think that 275 people have so far viewed your post, then you are sorely mistaken.
We have been down this road before with the site administrator and turns out that there is a thing called internet trawlers (not people at all) who scan all comments phishing for personal information that their sub human controllers can use for their benefit. To prove the point, check for yourself how many guests are online right now (43). I can guarantee you that there is never ever anymore than 5 humans on this forum at any one time.

Ah a new member welcome as you will notice we are few not too many stay long we still haven't figured it out. Some answers can be blunt an to the point some already have their answers and don't like being questioned. We don't know everything but have an opinion on everything gardening.
Here is my tip every time you post a question or comment put it under the topic you want discussed otherwise it ends up in the bottomless pit and none will comment. I never look up what did you do today so if anything gets lot in there you will miss all my sound advice criticism and smart comments, enjoy because there is a wealth of info and experience on here. Ill have to be careful as iam being nice I have my reputation to protect. Jump in. Smile
