if it was a sulphate of iron based moss killer, i read recently (maybe here) that it's best to dress with lime - as the acidity in the sulphate of iron is what kills the moss, but that moss likes acid ...

I used Westland lawn feed and weed and moss killer . I didn't read the bag properly. The lawn was mowed on Friday and I applied the moss killer on saturday, later that night it rained.
