Thank you Sue, I like Celandine, it has a pretty flower and the heart shaped leaves are sweet. It is on the road side outside our house, I will get rid of the Cuckoo Pint in the morning.

Hi Tagwax, I'll try some campanula and see how they get on, when the hedge grows it is likely that they will be in shade from before 12 noon onwards.

Thank you Sue, funnily enough there is one single solitary primrose that blooms brightly every spring. I think it needs the company of a few more primroses.
