I'm no expert but from growing them last year I have found that ones in the ground do much better than those in pots,
It is also worth your while giving them a feed once a week or so

If i had 10 acres of land 8 would be turned into a lake for fishing, one for growing my veg and the last one for the house and garden.

Ya as far as I know any soil that has salt put on it won't grow anything for a year or two.

I found some round 3mm eggs in a pot I was dumping last weekend,
Most of them were white but some were a very bright yellow colour.
