Bird life seems to be changing with me. The wood pigeons are now 4 breeding pair, Jackdaws have reduced to one pair. Only one pair of swallows, no carrion crows, hoodie or otherwise, no magpies. Huge increase in wagtails, grey and pied along with bullfinches, goldfinches, chaffinch and chiffchaff. Not a sandmartin to be seen, nor house martins. So far, one early-ish spotted fly-catcher still early to say if they will be back as their normal 3 or 4 pairs. Wrens, blue and great tit, robin, blackbirds are as usual, but no thrush. Not a cuckoo to be heard.
