I watched Gardeners World the other night and a little tip that i never thought of was given---ok i am a slow learner!!--i often raise seedlings on the kitchen window and always having to turn them round so they dont grow towards the light--they had a piece of cardboard covered in tin foil which relected the light---i tried this with some late tomato seedlings and it works. You all probably know this!!!

Gardener's world did make one mistake with the aluminium foil.
They put the foil under the plants as well as beside and behind them.
Many plants do not like light coming from the underside the leaves, this can be caused by the light reflecting off the aluminium foil under the plants.

Flat white plant also works well as a reflector.
