I need 4 of these but simply cannot afford them right now. Just wondering if theres a possibility of getting very small plants that I can grow on?
Have checked out the seed option but it seems like it is very troublesome. |

They are not available on the market in small pots. They are easy to divide by division and I have done so... where are you based? I could easily spare four plants _________________ I have always been a passionate gardener and could not imagine not getting my hands dirty in the attempt of helping plants to grow...I have recently relocated from the sunny south east to the wilds of connermara ... |

Many Thanks to MayGreen for squaring us away with a few P.Aurea. Hopefully I can be equally as generous when the time comes to divide them.
Will come back and post up some pics whenever they've put on a bit of growth. |

Here's a chcken coming home to roost. I too have been trying to get started with bamboo (see other posts) but can only find mature, potted, very expensive plants.
I too live near Galway and would be very grateful for a cutting, and I too hearby promise to pass on slips in the fullness of time.
PS There has to be a business opportunity for someone here |

Thanks MayGreen. I would greatly appreciate it.
I'll send you a PM and talk to you then.
I'm not too far from you, being on the Clare side of Galway Bay so if you can grow bamboo in Connemara, it should be a doddle here in Clare. |
