Anybody used these or know where to get them in a shop in Irl or Uk?

We are having our first autumn gale here in Essex and there's gonna be a great crop of leaves in the park tomorrow. By the way,it looks like upper state NY here at the moment with golden and purple leaves all over Thames Chase.

I do love Autumn

I'm not sure what you need jute sacks for..... are you going to collect leaves to rot down into leaf compost?
If so,an ordinary bin bag works wonderfully well....just fill with leaves, tie up, spike a few holes in it and forget about it for a year or two....it'll shrink down to a fraction of its original size, making glorious leaf mould.
I just throw the full bin bags in under shrubbery...anywhere you can't see them.
Couldn't be simpler!

Hiya Sive,
You should google "love em and leave em jute bags" to see what I mean. These are a very new idea. I have not yet actually seen 'em. I never use plastic and I could not use bin bags under any circumstances!

Hi Sal, Its lovely in and about the woods. I go there to escape the smell and noise of the A13 and the M25. The Summer has ensured there is a lot of sugar in this year's leaves. So they are fantastic. What I wouldn't give to be in Wicklow or Offaly right now. The colour must be only mighty.

walltoall, you will be able to get your hands on the standard weave jute sacks from farmers or dealers in seed potatoes as this is what the seed are commonly transported in.
The "love em and leave em jute bags" seem to be of a much looser weave though.

Hi Walltoall,
I have just googled those jute bags as suggested and they sound like a brilliant idea.
I didn't mean to upset you with my reference to plastic! To be fair, it's the only time I use those large bin bags!........I am a mad composter/recycler.....honest I am!
