It is indeed a seed head where the seeds have flown away in the wind.
Not a dandelion ...but similar plant.
You are nearly there.
I am trying to show you that you do not need to go to a rare plant fair to set a challenge...just look round you...the natural world is amazing.

Well well i went through all veg with a head like that so what is it. I found something in garden today I dont know what it is some one has been guerrilla gardening probably to easy for you ill post or take pic tomorrow as i forgot today too busy.

I am so sorry if I confused you Greengage.
You are probably too young to know what I am talking about.
I was quoting the Radio quiz game ...."20 Questions" from years ago..
Contestants had 20 questions to get to the answer.
1st question was always.....Animal, Vegetable or mineral?
Vegetable here in this instance means.... plants, trees, flowers, fungus, litchens, ....all growing things!
Not literally a vegetable.

Japanese anemone was taken to be a weed and removed completely. We were just interested in what it was.
