Never been to Heligan or Eden, but if you are ever near Market Drayton in Shropshire you must visit The Dorothy Clive Garden. It gets better every year. The best time to go is May for the rhodo's and azaleas and high Summer for the herbaceous borders (and any time for the homemade tea and cakes). It costs 7.50 and is worth every penny.

When you leave there it's a short drive to Bridgemere Nurseries - one of the few things I miss about England

Hi guys! This thread popped up on my email yesterday. It good to see you are still active. I guess its about time I participated too!
Weve had a tough time with a few issues over this last 18 months or so but seem to be turning a corner now so I hope to find the head space to take part again.

Lovely to read about these visits and to see the pics - Im going to visit a few gardens in Co Down with my sister over July.

For once Greengage you are incorrect.
Was hoping for a few more guesses before divulging the answer.
