Hi all, picked this tree up today in a local garden center. It had fallen behind a wall the girl thought it was there a few years it was in a 5lt pot. The bottom of tree was mostly dead so i made it into a standard. Its a korean fir but does anybody know what kind also should i cut off the leader. Regards jim

Hi thanks for advise. I won't cut the leader off. It was only in a 5lt pot so when i took it out I soaked it in a bucket of water for about an hour I loosened all the roots and then put it in a 20lt pot. I'm afraid I haven't room to put it in the ground.I realy like it the way it is and as it is very slow growing I'm hoping it will be ok for some years to come before i have to repot. Jim
