Sorry KS 'Modern Crevice Gardens'! That conjured quite a picture in my half asleep brain this morning.
Yes I resisted FB for the longest time and it's true, there is plenty of rubbish on there, but some gems too.
As for using a mobile - I tried a smartphone for six months. I hardly ever went 'online' for any reason, but did take a few (rather good) photos. That six months cost me more than three years with my old Doro brick. So I've gone back to that, PLUS the Doro fits in my pocket when I am gardening at my friends house and Dave needs to call me. _________________ Be humble, for you are made of earth

Here in lies the problem. I have been trying to contact him since January, all to no avail.
The other thing to wonder is,
If you had a website / forum and you were too busy / don't have time for it / don't care, would you make the effort to say it's closing? I hope it doesn't and that he brings some sense back in, but I am not holding my breath. _________________ Does your post really add something, or is it to bump your post count? |

I wondered how you were all doing, but I think the range of dates in the right hand column can't be ignored?

Happy New Year to Kindred Spirit and all my [Irish] gardening friends
I spent the last seven years touring the canals of England on a narrowboat and have lived "off grid" while on the boat. Back to nature they would say.
You can see what I was up to at www.pentargon.webs.com
and www.poplarclose19.webs.com has bits on my home and garden life.
I've now reverted to land life Best Always from WallToAll
(www.walltoall.webs.com)
My Essex garden is still working.
However, if this site dies, it will be because not enough members are prepared to step up to the line and actually do something. There are basically three types of people in the world: 1. Those who make things happen ... 2.Those who watch things happen. 3 Those who wonder what the bang was _________________ Retired trouble-maker. twitters @walltoall and dreams of being promoted to Pedunculate Oaker. |
