I'm about to start on my raised beds in my new tunnel. I have access to good quality screened top soil, horse manure (mixed with wood shavings) and bagged commercial organic compost. Can anyone advise on the best mix of all three for my beds or perhaps my best option is not a mix of all three. The vast majority of what I grow will be vegetable/herbs. Don't fret about the error as we have all done it.
No standard answer to your query as each plant will have its own requirements and what suits one may not suit another. So you may supply more info on what you intend to grow. Have a look in your local garden centre and look at the mix that is in the soil bags for sale. Either way yours will all grow one way or the other albeit some will grow better than others as the mix you will have put in will suit better. _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child.
