So it was just Cornwall that copped it? Yes I was waiting for Armageddon with all hatches battened and so far - a damp squib. Serves me right for listening to rhe Met Office forecast! _________________ Be humble, for you are made of earth

Intense thunder and lightning here around 2:30am. Lots of debris and localised flooding around 8am. |

Gautama - Quite by chance, I was browsing through a local 'free' paper that includes a 'FridayAd' section, and came across an ad that might be of use to you in your hunt for seaweed. Unfortunately the paper was a few days old, so the item may have gone but there could be more coming along in future.
The ad offered 'CLEAN SEAWEED 8x4 trailer load' but he only had two loads left. The contact number is 083 406 6296 but he advises texting as he's in a poor reception area. For the sake of a quick text, you could get him to let you know when he gets more, assuming both current loads have gone of course.
www.westcorkfridayad.ie is the on line version if you need it. _________________ A novice gardener on newly cultivated, stoney ground. |
