Hi there

Went to bloom on Sunday. We (village people) couldn't find the park as there was not a signpost for bloom anywhere until we got to the main gate of Ph.Park. We might be too demanding though... The place was mobbed. The tickets were a rip-off (good girl myself to have won mine ;P ). I don't understand this type of politics. The more you spend on the tickets the less you spend in the show. But maybe it's supposed to discourage people with wallets not thick enough for this sort of posh craic...That would also explain why only some priviledged individuals were let into the show gardens. Surprisingly enough, they looked like well-wheeled potential customers ;-P

I liked some suppliers' stands, especially the one with candelabra primroses from the north and Dicksonias.
As to the gardens i agree with one of the above opinions that garden shows are heading towards DIY. Not my cup of tea really but i found something for myself as well. My favourite was 'Twilight'. Liked the simple white 'frame' and contrasting green flesh. I love deciduous trees and woodland plants. Loved Melica nutans mixed wit Aquilegias. I'm getting a little bit excited now Smile)) There are a few pictures then:

left hand side of your keyboard forest flame, a button labelled Caps Lock, you might want to click it. Posting in CAPITALS makes it appear like you are SHOUTING.
