I have always used Microsoft Office picture manager. Works every time. The thing is, it is most likely on your computers already and you don't know that it is there.

I will try that. But the last Microsoft update on my pooter has locked me out of Word and keeps locking me out. I think Mr Gates thinks it's time I got a new computer - he can think again!

Sue. Download Libre Office for free.

Exactly the same as Microsoft office but completely free. Smile

I might just try that! I'm fed up of getting word back only to lose it the next time I log on.
Well I finally have something to report, but I don't know where. It seems no one is reading the what did you do today thread.
So I'll post it here!

I got a lot done today (but boy am I going to pay for it tomorrow). This morning I cut the hedge in the Japanese Garden. it's nice and tidy for the winter and has let in some much needed light. Then I made a new 'cave' for the fish - somewhere for them to hide if they feel the need. They have got so big this year that they won't all fit in the old one. It is just a large, black plant pot with a hole cut in the base so they can swim right through.

Then the main event. We had a lorry load of stone delivered and I started to fill the ditch at the front of the house. Did as much as I could until I ran out of drain (we only had a little left from the job at the back)

I had a long, soaky bath in Epsom Salts but I am stiffening up already. I'll need a crane to get me out of bed tomorrow! But it was worth it - I think Confused

Wonder woman....
You could have put it in what did you do today, as we all would have got the notification anyway.

Yes, but as I said I wasn't sure other posts were being followed. Plus - it got us talking again!

I have to add that despite not finding SimpleResize difficult to use, having to use it is a serious disincentive to sharing photos/starting discussions. Especially if one has got accustomed to the simplicity of including pictures in Messenger, Whatsapp, Farcebook etc.
Apart from the general inconvenience, using the resize generates yet more versions, at poorer resolution, that clog up the memory on my iPad. I then have to figure out which is the resized pic before I can delete it. Frankly, I have better things to do - deadheading, pulling weeds.....

Haven't seen James on here in a while, this site will probably come up for sale again soon if he does not renew his subscription, I could have bought it last time but being the nice chap I am I told him to renew. So we could al disappear overnight if the Donald buys it or his new friend into salad gardening Rocket man.

The cutting down of the quantity of subsections is long overdue and we should have some movement on that shortly.

Well if the boss is inactive what hope is there? One and a half years since that quote. You would think that a man of supposedly superior gardening knowledge than, I dare say, most if not all the rest of us, could start up a few interesting threads to keep the thing ticking over or stimulate a good debate. If interest doesn't come from the top then there is no hope. I sent him a PM about a dodgy poster who was trying to advertise stuff of an adult nature a few months ago and I never even got a response back.

I have been doing something if any of you noticed of late. Find an old thread and comment on it as then anyone who had commented on it would get a notification, hoping to draw back in a few old posters. One can only do so much.

I said it before you Greengage. the lack of any response is mystifying to say the least.

Iíve just figured out why I havenít been using the forum as much as I used to. I wasnít setting the Ďwatch this topicí control assiduously, so Iíve not been getting the email notices very often. Iíve gone down the current list of topics, correcting that.
So now, maybe I will be snowed under with fascinating horticultural howís-your-fathers!
