I left 5 trusses and then topped-off, they are touching the roof of the greenhouse.
I stripped all the foliage from the ground to just under the first truss which leaves the space below clear for Sweet Basil & Lollo Rossa Lettuce.

We had our first three tomatoes yesterday, small but totally yummy. Many more orange ones now. At least I won't have to buy tomatoes tomorrow.

I have so many I could supply Tesco! An absolute glut at the the moment, I mean hundreds literally. It is so much better down south.
I planted one side of the greenhouse with all cherry and plum varieties. And the larger varieties on the other side. I was concerned that the small ones wouldn't produce as much but they more than made up for it in quantity.

After 2 years of unsuccessfully trying to grow beefsteak tomatoes without one growing for me, this year i have loads of them and today I will finally have two with my lunch.

Tumblers in baskets doing ok, ones in polytunnel slower. No blight yet, touch wood.
