We always put our eggshells on the compost and I'm sure the Epsom salts I watered onto the tomatoes last year resulted in the sweetest tomatoes I've ever tasted!
I heard recently that 'if it's lived, you can compost it'. Dave says 'I suppose that's where I'll end up!' _________________ Be humble, for you are made of earth

I get rid of our eggshells that way too, Sue, but I think putting a whole egg under one seedling is a bit extravagant, as per the video. _________________ A novice gardener on newly cultivated, stoney ground. |
