I actually enjoy it. Seems to be a bunch of ways to eat them - either whole in the pod when they're small, whole as small beans when they're a bit bigger, neither of which i've tried yet.
I take them out of pods, boil them for about a minute, then put them in ice water for minute and strip the jackets off. Kids love doing that. Then fry the small green beans in a bit of of butter and they're delicious with lamb.
Anyone any other ways? |
