We got a good soaking today after weeks of nothing. Walked the potato drills yesterday evening looking for signs of life. Nothing to be seen but I bet there will be greenery within a few days now. Sowed Saturday before last.
I'll bet you will be up by 6 Blowin to watch the rain start if the times of your posts are anything to go by. _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. I nourished it. I saw to its every want. I dug the rocks out of it with my bare hands and I made a living thing of it!”

We had a good bit of nice soft rain here today.
Black & Amber country.
First early spuds are up had to cover them with hay the other night, thought there was going to be frost. |

Statistically the coldest town in Ireland if I remember rightly. _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. I nourished it. I saw to its every want. I dug the rocks out of it with my bare hands and I made a living thing of it!”

When I cross the ferry bridge in New Ross I spread frost on that county. _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. I nourished it. I saw to its every want. I dug the rocks out of it with my bare hands and I made a living thing of it!”

I was out with the dog at 0530 - but still no rain. Damned Wexford lot have pinched it all. Still, I won't begrudge him it, as my spuds are well above the earthing up now. _________________ A novice gardener on newly cultivated, stoney ground. |

Dear Mr T, Thank you for the drizzle that arrived at 0730 and the handful of showers that we've had since then. We're very grateful for all you can spare. _________________ A novice gardener on newly cultivated, stoney ground. |
