A companion post to my other post...

I'm also planning on growing ivy along the walls of my front garden, and plan on using wild ivy.

I assume ivy can be grown from cuttings? Has anybody tried this or can anyone make recommendations?

If you plan to take some ivy cuttings, first check out the ground near the base of the plants. Chances are there will be plenty of young plants a couple of inches long, with good root structures. I would collect and grow these on for a month or so and plant them on before the soil gets too cold.
