Now I knew that woulld get your attention.
“I want to know the best way to kill next door neighbors cat, without them suspecting anything. Its her closest pet and I need it to be gone. It kills bird and it comes in my back yard. Is there any way to poision it or dart it?
The cat next door wanders into my garden, digs up newly planted crops, shits everywhere annoys the dog and the hens scares birds from the bird table and kils young chicks.
So what do I do with it.
I have put out water in bottles, Threw stones at it, set the dog on it but all to no avail. So I harbour thoughts of killing it or bringing it on a long drive. Non of the above is true, but when looking for a link between why cattle get fat and their relation to the number of feral cats in the vicinity I came across this (If you want to know the link just ask or try figure it out)

This raises a few questions..... How long until Aunty Sue will be along with a comment? Get a good terrier, my lad hates cats and he gets obvious enjoyment from dispatching them. Strange people etc.... How strange do you have to be to look for a link between fat cattle and feral cats? The mind boggles, there has to be a sound and logical reason... Please explain as I cannot think of one. _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. I nourished it. I saw to its every want. I opened up this post with SUCH anticipation hoping for a humane way to get rid of every cat in the area but, alas, just the same old inhumane poisoning methods. Are there any Cat Zap guns on the market? There's an opening here for someone. It would have to have one button for zipping the cat dead instantly and another 5 second button for zapping the cat into nothingness without leaving a big hole in the tarmac. Where's the Spaceship Enterprise when you want it?
Just in case: I'm not serious. _________________ .

And the chances of that are.....?
How many zoos in the country and how many employed in them?
Lashings of pepper will do the trick. _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. I nourished it. I saw to its every want. I dug the rocks out of it with my bare hands and I made a living thing of it!”

Ok the link between feral cats and Fat cattle.
Cats kill mice.
Bumblebees make their home in an old mouse hole.
Bumblebees pollinate clover.
Cows feed and clover good for fattening them.
Lots of cats plenty of nest sites for bumblebees Bingo pollinator problem solved. Price in market for cows goes up.
But hold on If all the mice are dead there is no place for bumblebees to create nest sites, therefore Clover not pollinated therefore skinny cows, Back to the drawing board.
Could I link this to world domination of corn are we growing corn or is corn controlling us mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm |

Pepper works for me. There's a big bay tree close to my bird table and one local moggy is inclined to lurk beneath it, ready to pounce. Mostly, the birds are smart enough to keep away when the cat is there. I put down pepper and as it's fairly dry there, it lasts reasonably well.
I've just had an idea - I got some nuclear-grade chillies in the local Asian store last week. I may try mixing chilli flakes with the pepper when bird-feeding time comes round again. |

I prune my roses and hawthorn and make a spiky barrier around where our local cat goes, sometimes you have to move a stick or two as he manages to manouver around them but that's what I do |

I think a good old fashioned blunderbus would work wonders. The main advantage would be that the mess would attract birds in to your garden to eat up the offal. _________________ “It’s my field.
