Hi All,
Just wanted to say hi as I'm new here.
My main interest is trying to grow stuff in my polytunnel. I have 3 kids and not much time but I find that I just about can manage my polytunnel.
I don't work in horticulture but went to 'The Bots' many moons ago,
looking forward to chatting,

Hi there and welcome to IG.
Had a quick look at your blog, how are your tomatoes doing now? It is still not too late to cut out side shoots. Too many side shoots and flowers take all the 'strength' out of your main stem and lessen the chance of a good crop of tomatoes. I seem to do OK with 4-5 trusses per plant. Any more and the results are poor.
Good luck and keep posting. _________________ Be humble, for you are made of earth

Well TunnelDad are you still 'snooping' around? Anything overwintering in that tunnel? _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. I nourished it. I saw to its every want. I dug the rocks out of it with my bare hands and I made a living thing of it!”
