Hi there , I hope you don't mind if I join you .
We moved here from the SE of England about 5 years ago and have just about "landed" as you say . What an amazing place !
I used to have my own gardening business back in the uk . I thought that I could set up the same sort of thing over here -- you know , maintain nice neat lawns & beds , hedge-cutting , ornamental ponds etc etc for loadsamoney thankyou very much . That was a big mistake as you need nothing less than a tractor in these parts but I am having fun trying to set up my own smallholding instead .
Yours looks like a great forum for the conventional gardener . I will post up a link in countrytalkandtips . I know we have a few Dubliners on there . The rest of us are a bit more on the wild side _________________ http://countrytalkandtips.myfreeforum.org/index.php for smallholding and country living in IRELAND . |

| Welcome, Blow-In, hope Sligo is a little more cheerful than Wexford is, this damp Thursday morning....we can see no further than 100 metres! Thanks for that link, I've already checked it out and I think I'll join in there as well. |

Many thanks for the welcome .
Here is a link to your mention on CT&T . Please feel free to add to it .
Note to Mods -- I don't think there will be any competition for membership as I am sure that the two forums complement each other very nicely . ( I do hope that doesn't sound patronising -- it certainly isn't intended to be ) ) .

At what point should you stop digging holes for yourself , I wonder _________________ http://countrytalkandtips.myfreeforum.org/index.php for smallholding and country living in IRELAND . |
