I've been given a cutting from a Buddleia plant and from what I've seen and read it's just not suitable at all for my titchy garden. However I do have a vast patio with many containers on and if it's possible the Buddleia could go into on and be kept tame and smaller that way
What do you think; possible for pipe dream? |

It can be kept smaller but it will be to the detriment of the flowers. Because the woody stems and narrow leaves are not much to look at, any reduction in flowers would make me think twice about putting it in.
What size of a container are we talking, as You would need at least a half barrel? |

I was thinking of a rather large one. Dunnes have some huge ones at the moment that I was thinking of using.
I hear what you saying about being to the detriment of the flowers - I'm just wondering how much of a detriment it would be. |
