I have a question concerning application of lawn fertiliser. The lawn hasn't been cut for the first time after Winter, should the feed be applied before the first cut or does it matter?

Also, can one compost grass clippings that have been treated with Dicophar (broad leaved weedkiller)?

Thanks!
