Im having trouble growing my spring onions past the size of shoelaces! I have them in a pot of compost in a sunny spot in my kitchen. I water regularly and feed with liquid veg feed from B+Q. I have a photo They are Performers which are supposed to do well in pots? Any help would be appreciated,

Hi

They don't look too good do they. I would put them outside, (more light), and is there any possibility they have been too wet - (watered too much).

My spring onions were doing fine until they got infected with rust from the garlic which has been badly infected. I ended up pulling most of them up but the ones I have left are growing fine. They are outside though and despite many periods of heavy rain have also been subjected to drying winds and drying soil.

Looks like either overwatering or underwatering to me ciaranlan. More like underwatering with a touch of high temps from sun through a window.

Thanks people, well that puts my mind to rest, I suppose I'll start again and be more careful with the watering. I have been guilty of overwatering. Thanks for the help
