Due to the very windy weather of the last week, I've ended up with wind damage on my outdoor tomatoes and was wondering if there is anything I can do to help the plants recover from it? Thankfully, they are planted in gallon buckets which I moved indoors during the worst of the windy weather, but they are still looking rather sad, with leaves with brown crinkly edges and some broken stems.

I've bandaged up the stems (following advice about plasters that I had spotted on here!), but I haven't found any advice on 'aftercare' for windburn. Should I be removing any damaged leaves (either browned ones or broken ones?) and what about giving them an extra feed? Or will they just recover well enough by themselves?

mine are the exact same, blown to tatters but the fruit is still hanging on. my plant already looks dead so im not too concerned.being an outdoor plant they got to adapt and living by the sea you get windy weather so im just going to wait and see what occurs.. good luck with yours!!

Mine don't even have fruit yet! One set of well developed flowers and another two that look like they're flower trusses (I always find it hard to tell until it gets really ****** obvious). I just put them back outside as the wind had died down, watered them and will hope for the best. Fingers crossed...
