When they put a charge of 5 p.a. on it, that finished it. (a long time ago)

Yes I was on that site for a wee while. Got re--united with a couple of school friends, but not the ones I wanted!

Don't do farcebook, OH does and he gets requests from total strangers to be his 'friend'. The other day he got a request from someone who turned out to be a school friend of a daughter of his ex-girlfriend!? Rolling Eyes

I've been on it for over 15 years and I've always been charged. I can't believe that its been announced like this and people haven't been informed personally.

I do Farcebook. You just have to control your page. Only have friends I know either personally or from forums. If any friend continually posts rubbish, I still keep them as a friend but have their posts permanently turned off on my page.

I have a "good" page "Irish Gardening National Group" on Farcebook if anyone's interested.

It was free when it started off first and was going great guns. Then they brought in a 5 charge and that virtually demolished it. The vast majority of people just didn't use it anymore and it was sold on. It slid downhill from then on. It had the potential to be one of the best social sites of all time........but there you go. Sad
