Hi all,
Only recently moved back to Eireland after living in the UK,Greece & France. After such varying climates and growing seasons it is proving to be very difficult to slot back in to the routine of allowing for the Eire weather!!! Really looking forward to exchanging ideas and advice being offered--please!

| I am sure the weather over the last while has been a bit closer to what you are used to corfiot. Whats your garden like, is it a bare site or a fixer upper? |

Hi Birdie,
The house was only built 6 years ago and laid completely to grass,3 quarters of a acre of grass needs some mowing!!!Not a flower bed in sight and no plants.Slowly digging out beds and trying to creat features. The house in France had 3 acres of landscaped gardens and became a burden to maintain,so our wee patch here should be a tad easier. Can put some pix on if anyone interested? The last few weeks we though we had been transported back to Greece---never thought i would be praying for rain in Eireland |

Would love to see some pics of your proposed garden corfiot. That mowing is soul destroying I find, I suppose it depends on the type of mower you have. For me it was always a push mower. _________________ ______________________________

| Hi Corfiot, I was instantly intrigued by your name as Corfiot means a native of Corfu, I presume that's where you were in Greece then? Welcome home! And enjoy the temperate climate, one of the best for gardening! |
