Curious to know if anybody has any knowledge on the Yellow Birch? There are two trees close to where I live with Birch like bark but with larger, broader leaves that turn a rich yellow in Autumn. I am presuming they are Yellow Birch? If so does anyone know where they can be purchased? Any information or growing experience would be appreciated. Thanks. |

There is a tree called Yellow Birch (Betula alleghaniensis) but i doubt if you have it growing now i could be wrong. It is more commonly grown in Canada, a pic would help to identify it, are you sure its not just an ordinary silver birch changing colours before the leaves fall off. |
