I hae arowan tree but all the birds have eaten the berries and now I hve no source if seeds to get and grow a few seedlings:(So I was wondering if anyone wouod be kind enough to post me berries or seeds but enough to ensure a good germination rate.I an offer seeds of another tree which comes with instructions and these are seeds of paulownia tomentosa seeds.I also have opened vegetable seed lbs and sunflower seeds but that's all I have got because I am young and don't have that much money and will be buying more seeds next year for the new veg season so that is all I have.
I hope someone is interested,

See if you can get someone to take you to a mountainous area - plenty of those in Kerry! The Rowan is also called the Mountain Ash because that is the terrain in which it most often occurs naturally. |

If I had those seeds I would send them to you Edlyn. No charge and nothing wanted in return. Just sorry that I don't have them.
You went to a forest with no trees??????? _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. I nourished it. I saw to its every want. I dug the rocks out of it with my bare hands and I made a living thing of it!”

hey I see what you mean the beds seem to have had a lot of them. I can across quite a few in my area with not one berry on but I was driven by my quest and came across 3 in a row with berries ( owners must have a couple of cats) so I got red , orange and pink I looked up the pink and seemingly its Sorbus Hepehensus Pink Pagoda Chinese Rowan tree. I will send u a pm later. You should contact An Coillte they have a great book on propogating trees and also look up The Tree Council of Ireland, there's a passionate lot in there ! |

Despite all the bantering that goes on much to the annoyance of some , it's nice to see gestures being made and people going out of their way to help others when possible....nice one Ado2... |

Yeah, Wexford people are so nice. Even the ones that were banished years ago! Well done Ado, saves me going down to the local wood on Saturday. _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child.
