found these growing in a field next to me can anyone tell me what they are ,Think first one is orchid of some kind . thank you

Not sure about the orchid but the last photo looks like the cuckoo flower.
Perhaps somebody else will confirm if it is or not!

I agree on the cuckoo flower for the second one. The first is a bog orchid of some sort. As the name goes they grow in acid of bog type soils. Quite endangered if it is that.

Hi Spider,
The orchid is Early Purple Orchid, Orchis mascula and the other is Cuckoo-flower / Ladys Smock, Cardamine pratensis.
