nEW TO THE SITE

Hello I have just joined the site. I live in Dublin and have grown vegetables and other stuff for 15 years in this garden. I garden organically and am always interested in learning new ways of doing things. One problem I have is my neighbours Russian Vine which is growing through. I cannot plant anything except in pots on my side as my partner goes out every few days and cuts out the overhanging branchesand inevitabley walks on things aagh , Otherwise I am buying a hobby tunnel soon so I am excited about that. I have looked up solutions to problems on the site and I am very pleased to have joined,

Welcome I think you must be about the 100th person I would have welcomed to this site, Most people only post once to say they are here and promptly disappear.
Hope you enjoy the site and pay no attention to some of the banter here as we have been here too long.Good to have new blood with lots of experience. You can ask advice or give it and some one will either agree or disagree but hold your ground...........

Yep fight your corner. It's the only way! ! Welcome aboard. I planted that Russian Vine (mile a minute) at a house I had in the UK much to the the annoyance of my neighbours, one in particular, but I was looking for quick cover over something unsightly not realising that it was considered as a virus and highly invasive weed at the time. Sold house with weed intact haha.

Thank you for your welcome. I have been busy the last few days moving into my new greenhouse. Him indoors kinda thinks it's his cos he built it and it's hard trying to evict him I moved all his tools into his shed to try give him the hint. I finally moved my tomatoes in and tied them up We have a rusty old ladder And I got another project for himself Making a plant stand by painting it and adding wood and make shelves .He is happy now. I cannot download pics from this phone but when I get a chance I will take picks from my digital camera and do it that way .
