Does anyone know where I could get a rose called "Golden Wings". It is a yellow open flowered shrub rose with fragrant blooms. Ithink it was originally a US rose but wondered do any Irish garden centres or nurserys supply it or have it in stock?
Thanks

Thats a daviid Austin rose therefore i would suggest Johnstown garden centre they could order it for you or the Arboretum Leighlinsbridge, Co. Carlow or you can order direct from David Austin in England they will post

mmmm cant get it or wont get it, Its available on the David Austin website maybe for Johnstown its not a big enough seller to justify buying it in, but cant see how it could not be added to their order next delivery. Ask again try Jim himself. Ring or E-mail. |

Funnily enough I was looking at David Austin roses in UK last week. They have stopped delivering bare root at the moment and are only doing roses in pots. Delivery in UK costs £26.50 and by what I can make out out of UK theres a £15 surcharge so thats going to cost £41.50 or €50.28 and then you've got to put the cost of the rose on top of that. |
