Ok, I am sorry about this, but can someone please help me, how I did this I have no idea. I have a hanging, sorry had basket with a petunia I think you call them multi petunia. They have a very small flower which is a red colour now I took it down to water it on Friday but yesterday the leaves (quite a few) had turned brown and the stems seem very week for some reason and I notice a white power on the leaves. What have I done wrong. I know to professionals this is simple but me that is a whole different ball game. |

Sounds like it could have dried out and you have mildew.
dead head, remove leaves that are dead water and feed when i say water soak it in a bucket for 30 mns then let drain before hanging back up. |

Thanks Greengage, mildew? I thought only roses got that. I did water the basket and never let it get dry, I watered it every second day. Maybe that was not enough, but I have never gave it feed of any kind. Do you have any ideas on the feed. Thanks again for your help I will pick off the dead leaves and flowers now and hopefully it will come on again.
Any suggestions about the wife hanging me instead of the basket |

Thanks, Tomato food. Ok I will go find it. Sorry if I seem daft but I do not know one thing about gardening, I love roses and have to fix my lawn. So Tomato feed it is. Thank you so much. |

William re tomato feed, a lot of the pound shops still have that sort of thing at the mo so you could probably pick it up for a couple of euros |

Thank you for the advice, I will follow that up. I never realised flowers could get mildew, I thought it was only roses. |
