Hot , hot , hot . The weather here is far too hot for working , high 20s again today . Yesterday was 30 again and its a real killer working out in it. Stayed indoors and watched telly

Still to hot , nothing for it but get back to the grind , I was painting some walls in the courtyard garden and the paint was drying as fast as it went on.
Actually watching paint dry on a sunny afternoon is not at all boring More painting tomorrow and then the hard landscaping starts Saturday, a raised circular patio .

Here our summers are typically in mid to upper 20s c, but the last few weeks have been in mid to upper 30s and miserably humid. Everything in the garden droops out during the day and perks up again after sunset. Impossible to work outside after about 8 in the morning. Even the birds stop singing after 9, and go find some cool spot down in the woods nearer the stream.

Hi lilith , you have just answered a question that has been annoying me this past week , all our birds have gone missing and I assume its the heat . normally we get temps around 20 c. but this week its mostly been in the high 20s . the temperature next week is predicted to drop so it should be interesting to see if they ( the birds ) reappear .
Today was hot again ,but I'm off to the pub for a nice cold Guinness .

Well it started out a bit chilly and cloudy.
The cloud left and now its raining.
Temp is 5 to 17 today.
Rain looks as if it settled in for a bit not to worry we need it bad.

the temps are also changing here in the east , still to hot for work , took another day off , I was supposed to work in the courtyard today laying a circular patio but they delivered the wrong one Back to work on Monday

Maybe a degree or two less here today, but so humid you could wring water out of the air. A steam bath. Was very cloudy and breezy this morning and not too bad out. Birds singing, little critters scurrying around. Now not a peep to be heard and everybody's gone to ground. We're in for some serious thunderstorms later, I hear.

Finally the temperature has dropped , temps today should be around 19 to 23 c. Mrs. Bugs is cooking a nice Sunday brunch for the two of us . I'll read the Sunday papers and watch the hurling match in the pm . Bliss

Temps down here today as well, round about 16 to 18 degrees here at present.
Its bright out despite lots of clouds.
The wind has picked up a bit as well.
Maybe a trip to the bog today, maybe not.
Could be a few showers around.

Here in Toronto it has been around 30 degrees for weeks. This summer we are extremely lucky in that it rains almost every second day.
One of my sons just came back from Washington DC and says it was around 40 degrees everyday.
This is the reason I envy those who garden in an Irish climate. It is extremely difficult to grow impatiens in this climate unless they are under a tree.
