Hi, bought a packet of wild meadow flower seeds to use as a backdrop and sowed last October. Now everything seems to be growing with lots of lovely different flowers and colours however, the packet was just a mixed bag with various seeds but no list of types.
My problem is most of the plants/flowers match the picture on the package except for one which seems to be thriving and dominating the area to the extent that a couple of the plants are now touching seven foot tall.
Also if known, are they dangerous or are they ok to be left alone?.
Any help would be appreciated.

They are Teasels. Not poisonous. Bees and butterflies love the flowers, and finches love to eat the seeds. They do have a tendency to seed themselves around and become a bit of a weed, so I tend to leave some, pull up all the rest of the seedlings growing where they'd be a problem, and cut the seed heads off. I save them for midwinter and feed the birds with them away from my veg beds.

Thanks for your help. I'm relieved that they are not harmful.
Will wiki that name and see what type it is.
