Online Petition for Terryland Forest Park, Galway.

On behalf of our Friends of the Terryland Forest Campaign, I am hoping that you might consider encouraging all your friends via email to sign the Online Petition at http://www.thepetitionsite.com/petition/714162068

This petition is a request by its signatories to the Galway City Council not to accept the proposal by city officials to build a new road through the grounds of the Terryland Forest Park that campaigners feel will not help traffic flow in the city, will have a catastrophic effect on wildlife by destroying a developing ecological corridor & undermine the planned recreational amenities in the what is referred to Peoples Park and Urban Cultural Woodland.
It would also represent a betrayal of the tens of thousands of children & adults who planted trees & bulbs in Terryland Forest Park since 2000.



The petition will be presented in April to the Mayor of Galway City.
