i would like a floral display for the end of may (family occasion 24th )and planted, 2 weeks ago, spanish flag and morning glory in a heated propogator.
doing well so far about 6 inches tall and will need to be transplanted soon.

1. Any tips on forcing them into flower for end of may ( packet say mid june)

2. What kind of feeding do seedlings require?

3. any other words of wisdom

Thanks for the advise on the fatsia its doing great following its transplation it lost all the lower leaves but has a lovely canopy.
magnolia Tree also survived and has leaf buds yippee!

Mr,

1. Artificial lighting is something i'm playing around with at the moment, unfortunately by the time i have a result it will be too late for u, according to what i've read this is how to force them to produce earlier, again i dont know yet what the problems will be afterwards.

2. Could still get frost in may and that will probably kill everything in sight.

3. What i've decided to do is to sow individually where possible into small cells, this should keep then happy for a month to six weeks after germination and after that pot them on to bigger sized cells which should keep them fed till planting out time, keep the compost moist, add copper funchide compound to the first watering and maybe every other one after that, well this is the theory, hopefully it will work
