Hi,
Does anyone know the name of this tree? A friend of mine has it in his garden but is not sure what it is. It flowers like this for months and will be in bloom until maybe August he thinks.
Thanks in advance

I am no expert on trees unless I am standing beside it with my Mitchell Beazley in hand. Surely it is an Acer of some sort, most likely a cherry blossom.

when does it flower form when to when, can you get a close up of the flowers, is it in an irish garden,
only tree that flowers a long time is a jacanarda but I doubt if its that unless he lives in florida, looks like a cherry or malus from this distance, need pic of flowers and maybe bark, also does it fruit, is it double flowered or single, my guess it is doubled flowered as it lasts so long otherwise it would have been pollinated by flying insects.

Not Florida Greengage, near you actually. 2 miles NW of Kildare town.

Then it must be one of the hundreds of varieties of cherry. Impossible to tell without close ups of the tree.
