Anyone want to have a go at identifying these 6 trees by their bark.
Not as hard as you think.

I am no expert but No. 1 is definitely not an ash, much smoother than that unless it's an oldie. I think 6 might be a cherry.

2.maple
3.laburnum
4.birch
5.ash
6.cherry

4. Mature Silver Birch
5. Ash

Ok, well am pretty sure its a prunus something, so I'll go for Prunus Avium.
