| Can you grow bananas from seed?, just eat one and I take is the small brown 'bits' inside are the seed? |

The small brown 'bits' inside are undeveloped seeds, as the bananas we buy in the shops are from infertile banana plants.
I believe these type of banana plants are propagated by root division not seed. |

| My sister has a banana plant in her conservatory. I find it hard to believe when she says to me that someday it will produce bananas. Decoration only I tell her. |
