Well have a look on the packet and see what it says for temperature. With the heat we're having at the moment and if you keep them moist , plus their covered which is like a mini greenhouse you should be ok.
If it gets a bit chilly bring it indoors |

I'd leave them a little bit longer so they are stronger. problem is if you put them in the ground to quick and to small, either the weather or slugs get at them which is so disheartening |

I think i will leave them till next year. Should they be indoors in winter time?. Do they need to be watered over winter? |

Good idea, that will give them a good chance to get stronger. Don't water to much in winter, just keep them from getting cold. Rule of a thumb is feel compost with your finger and if the compost is on your finger don't water. Only give them a little drink if no compost is on your finger but wintertime they shouldn't need much water. Don't drown them in other words. |

Hope you don't mind me joining in with this. I agree with Margo, little amounts of water will do better than a lot. Hope they go okay for you |

I wouldn't chance it until they are twice that size. Perhaps in a cold frame. |

If you have a Timber Shed that will also suffice when it gets to cold...on a Sunny Day you can give them a few hours of fresh air then back indoors...or place them inside the Window on a Shelf... |
