I'm looking for a good handyman/gardener to help me lay 6 raised beds in my garden. The garden has a slight slope and these beds need to be 100% level. The raised beds have already been made so I just require help leveling them.
I live in Greystones, Co. Wicklow.
Regards,
Ray. |

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean that you want somebody to put in posts and carefully cut pieces of wood to make sure that the surface of the beds is level, relative to your slope? That'd be easy, and you could do it yourself. The only problem I can see is that on end of the bed will be deeper than another. Do you want somebody to excavate and terrace the slope so that the ground is level? That'd be really expensive, and your beds would be lying on subsoil or bedrock, which isn't great. |

I have a mini-digger and a survey level on a tripod if that's any help, plus all manner of tools for cutting wood. _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it. I nourished it. I saw to its every want. I dug the rocks out of it with my bare hands and I made a living thing of it!”
