i am just deciding whether to fill this corner area in with cement just a small depth ,
or should i use the black polypropylene landscape fabric and then just put gravel stones on top instead
Any ideas i would be grateful

Many apologies.......they came up after I had posted that......
I would far prefer to see you using gravel in this situation. Gravel can be attractive and gives you options to change the planting in the future.......I'm afraid concrete in the garden is rarely a thing of beauty and far too permanent and sterile in my opinion. But that's just my own feeling about it.

Put some black plastic down and cover with chippings. Make some holes in the plastic and plant some varigated coloured grasses in. |
