Hello,
We are after making a new hedge/wind break up on the top field/
We were advised to do this because we have a lot of fruit trees and soft fruit up in the field and we were told we would need a wind break as it is very exposed.
I would like a mixed hedge with berries for tyhe birds in winter and maybe some flowers in the spring/summer.
I just need some advise about which plants to buy.
Also does anyone know of a good place to buy the plants , we need about 05/60 so I suppose we need quite fast growing ones too lol
Many thanks |

There have been very good posts and threads many times all about native hedging, so you should be able to find those if you search on the site. Hawthorn will be the backbone and dog rose will give you lovely splashes of colour. |
