Another very basic question, but when is the best time to purchase bulbs to plant out for next year?
I've seen a lot on special offer, but have resisted impulse purchasing before I checked on here, as I'm presuming they're on special offer for a reason?
Merci!x[/i] |

Greengage is right: for things like daffs/tulips/crocuses, september is a good time. For summer flowering bulbs, like Gladioli, buy and plant in about march. Good garden centres will change their stock seasonally, giving you a guide as to suitable things to plant. |
