I have peas started inside, 6 have come on far enough to plant out, I might do that today.
4 came on the withered and died (as did all my beans and some of the onions) and about a half a dozen never came on at all.
I'll start more inside as soon as I plant the 6 good ones out.

Have you dug a trench around the polytunnel so that you can bury the plastic. The earth on top will weight the polytunnel down

I planted some Mangetout into modules last week. They are in my cold frame. I'll be in no hurry to plant them out.

No. I used a base rail to attach the poly to. seems to work fine

My peas are just pushing up in our little plastic greenhouse. I'm gonna put them in large long pots alongside the shed and have them climb a roof-high net. Gotta make the best of our small garden.

Any day now . . . May 1st, anyone? Soil temp still only 9 degrees last week; talk about a Spring that never Sprung!
But the polytunnel's up and done, anyway . . .
